Fraser Engineering (UK) Ltd manufactures L.T.U.® trench heating products. The link below shows some typical casing dimensions, but as each project is purpose made, changes can be made to the width or depth of the trench as required.

Trench casing assemblies, including element supports are manufactured from 1.2mm Zintec. The casing interior is finished in matt black self-etch paint.

Levelling of the casing is achieved by use of M6 x 50mm hex headed screws through M6 wide flange 'Nutserts'.

Heating elements can be L.P.H.W. (hot water) or electric. Fan assisted units are available where more output is required.

The elements sit on supports within the trench, which are faced with a 'U' shaped rubber extrusion to prevent any noise caused by expansion or contraction.

The edge trim supports the grille and is manufactured from 6063 T6 grade aluminium, usually anodised AA5 to BS1615. Heavy duty stainless steel grilles utilise a linished stainless steel A304 angle. End of runs are finished with a welded open frame, pre drilled for fixing.
